Jose Davila | Partner

Jose Davila is a global human resources leader with over 30 years of experience driving organizational transformation across retail, consumer goods, and manufacturing. Having lived and worked in the US, Europe, and Asia, he specializes in strategic human resources planning, organization design, and large-scale change management.

Most recently, he served as the Chief People Officer for J.Crew Group, encompassing the J.Crew, J.Crew Factory, and Madewell brands. In this capacity, he led a team of 60+ HR professionals supporting a global workforce of over 15,000 employees. His career is marked by senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most iconic brands, including serving as Vice President of HR for Levi Strauss & Co. Americas and spending a decade at Gap Inc. in key international roles in London and Tokyo.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Jose is deeply committed to educational equity. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the Breakthrough Collaborative, where he is Co-Chair of the Nominating & Governance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.

Jose holds an M.A. in Adult and Workplace Education from Columbia University and a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. He currently resides in New York City.
